Justus Munyithya is a renowned Human Rights lawyer. He is a former vice chair of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Mombasa branch. He has a Masters degree in law (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is also a lecturer at the Kenya School of law.
Mosongo Maosa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya He is the Managing Partner of Mosongo Company Advocates He has profound experience and skill in Dispute Resolution Legal Audit and Compliance, Legal Research, Trial Advocacy, Legislative Drafting and is a zealous Human Rights Defender.
He is a Subject Matter Expert at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration ( Professional Trainer at Kenya Institute of Supplies Management ( Faculty member at the Trial Advocacy Training Institute, and Board member at Marlow Link Timber Products Limited.
He was awarded the Young Litigation Practitioner of the Year at the Nairobi Legal Awards 2022 and the Most promising Advocate of the year at the Kituo cha Sheria Annual Legal Awards as 2021.
He is an active member of the Law Society of Kenya He currently serves in the Law Society of Kenya Nairobi Branch as a committee member of the Litigation Practice Committee, Devolution and Law Reform Committee, and several bar bench committees.
As the Managing partner he oversees all departments and activities in the firm When not attending to firm matters, he is a committed family man and has a keen interest in Music production and sound engineering.
He is also passionate about encouraging and inspiring young people He is often found mentoring younger advocates and aspiring advocates.
Cs. Serah is an Advocate of the High Court, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public and Certified Secretary. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree from the University of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, A Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, and completed the Certified Secretaries training through KASNEB, where she was awarded as a KASNEB PRIZE WINNER ranked as the top candidate among those who took part in the CS Part III Sections 5 and 6 Examinations. She was also awarded 1st Runners up – Public Sector Lawyer of the Year, 2022 by the Nairobi Law Society of Kenya. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, and the Institute of Certified Secretaries respectively. She has over thirteen years of experience in legal and governance matters. Serah has held numerous positions in private practice, non-governmental organizations and the public sector. She also serves as a Director on several private and non-governmental sector boards.
A pragmatic accounting and finance executive with a successful background of performance through formulation and implementation of strategic interventions to attain desired outcomes. I have a diverse work experience covering accounts and finance, external audit, internal audit, consultancy and academia gained from both private and public sectors. I pride in being a goal oriented, detail-oriented leader that inspires and mentors teams to attain desired performance levels.
I hold a PhD in Business Management and an MBA, both from the University of Nairobi. I am also a Business Management graduate from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, majoring in accounting for all the three degrees. Professionally, I am a C.P.A. (k), a Certified Trustee (TDPK) and a graduate of Certified Credit Professionals of Kenya Part three exams.
Currently, I am the designate partner and audit manager at Nelson and Francis LLP, an accounting services firm. I have previously worked as a chief accountant at Bowip Agencies; finance and accounting lecturer; Head of Finance; Head of Internal Audit and a Tutorial Fellow at Maasai Mara University. I have also previously worked as an auditor at the Office of the Auditor General.
I have been a consultant trainer with ICPAK, Centre for Project Management and the Kenya School of Government on public finance, budgeting, taxation, devolution, accounting standards (both IFRS and IPSAS). I have also published articles on audit, accounting standards, budgeting, capital markets and boards. I have also supervised 3 post graduate students.
Fatuma Dubow is a seasoned health care professional with over 30 years’ experience in International development, Gender equality and Human rights. Fatuma holds a masters degree (MSc.) in International Health from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and Bsc degree in Gender and Development . Prior to joining the Kituo Cha Sheria, Fatuma worked with the Ministry of Health at Division of Reproductive Health and Family Planning, leading and coordinating with stakeholders in implementing Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights Programs at National and Regional level including Reproductive Health Inter-Agency Committees (RHIC) &TWGs for over 15 years. Fatuma had the opportunity of working with various International NGOs such as Daninda, GIZ, Care International and the United Nations (UNICEF ,UN women and UNFPA) .
Fatuma comes with a wealth of experience in the field of advocacy and promotion of human rights and Gender equality.
