Legal Aid and Education (LEAP) Programme
John is a holder of Bachelor of laws degree from Moi University. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K).
He has previously worked at the firm of Mirugi Kariuki & Co. Advocates. His career in the human rights field started at the Kenya Human Rights Commission before joining the Law Society of Kenya. He is currently practicing law at Kituo Cha Sheria where he specializes in civil litigation, succession, labour and human rights litigation.
Kivungi is a holder of Higher Diploma in Counseling Psychology from Foundation Institute of Africa. A Process-Server of the High Court of Kenya, Joined Law firms in 1976. Had worked with various law firms before joining Kituo Cha Sheria in 1996. He has a wealth of experience specializing in Civil Procedure, Succession law, Criminal law and issues of Human rights. He is also a Pastor with the African Inland Church of Kenya in Machakos County.
Muinde is a process server of the High Court of Kenya. He is awaiting to complete Paralegal Diploma in Kenya School of Law, joined Advocate’s Law firm in 1992 until 2005 when he joined Kituo Cha Sheria. He has vast experience in Civil Procedure, Criminal Succession and Conveyancing.
Tracy Wachira is a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 2 years working experience in providing counsel and representation to litigants including self-representing litigants. She is well versed in public interest litigation, family and succession matters, land issues, employment matters, medical negligence, alternative dispute resolution and advocacy.
Esther Nekesa is a court-annexed mediator with a distinguished law career and vast experience in legal matters spanning 3 years. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Nairobi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and currently undertaking her LL.M at the University of Nairobi.
She is skilled in human rights law, contract drafting, company law, employment law, and intellectual property as well as dispute resolution. Esther is also fluent in English, Kiswahili, and sign language.
