Public Interest Regional Colloquium
Paralegal Summit
The paralegal summit seeks to bring together paralegals from all parts of Kenya and East Africa for a two-day event that see exchange of best practices, challenges as well as possible avenues of collaboration. The summit culminates in a glamorous gala dinner that aims at celebrating the achievements of Paralegals by rewarding them for the good work that they do in the community justice centres across the country.
Regional Convening
The convening, held in Nairobi, Kenya brought together 15 grassroots and national legal empowerment organisations from West, East, Southern and the Horn of Africa. The objective of the meeting was to begin to build friendships, solidarity, partnerships and a community of practice around legal empowerment in Africa who aimed to develop a clear roadmap detailing collective priorities, activities, responsibilities and timelines towards enhancing legal empowerment in the continent.
The Annual National Conference On Alternative Justice Systems
The annual AJS conference for stakeholders offers a platform for knowledge sharing about Social Transformative Justice through Alternative justice Systems. In the context of our times, its focus is to promote national and thought-provoking conversations about the use of AJS as a tool to introduce a justice discourse that debates the emancipatory potential of AJS for societal transformation.
