Finance & Administration Programme (FAD)
Ms. Brenda Kemunto is an enthusiastic finance professional with over 7 years of experience providing comprehensive administrative and financial management support.
Brenda holds a Master of Science (Finance and Investments Option) Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) Degree from the University of Nairobi.
She has a wealth of experience in budgeting & cost management, financial analysis and reporting, internal controls enhancement, reconciliations and annual audits.
Brenda currently serves as the Finance and Administration Coordinator at Kituo Cha Sheria; the oldest legal aid and access to justice organization in Kenya. Her duties include budgeting, donor compliance & reporting, annual statutory audits and operations & administrative support.
She is tasked with aligning programme activities with financial initiatives to ensure completion of activities within set budget controls. She is also tasked with developing and ensuring financial processes and controls.
Teddy is a graduate from Kenyatta University with a Bachelors degree in Education specialized in Mathematics and Business disciplines. He is most passionate about Accounting and currently is in cpa part 3. He joined kituo in January 2021 and has since then served as a finance Officer in the Finance department. For the short period he has been in kituo, he has attended Paralegal training and has a better understanding of the laws of land, labor and succession.
Benard’s vast experience begins in 2002. He worked as the receptionist/ Storekeeper at National Water office. He has worked in Mercury and Cornerstone Security firms among other security firms. He joined Kituo Cha Sheria in April, 2007 and has been working as the head of security until April 2014. He is currently working in Kituo Cha Sheria as the Driver/ Office Assistant.
Ounza has worked at Kituo Cha Sheria since 11th January 1996. Before he worked in Somalia with the United Nations during Operation Restore Hope under Morris suppliers (SomaAustria Company). He holds a Diploma in Information science from Kenya Polytechnic.
John has studied Criminology, Safety and Risk Management and has vast experience in security matters having worked for other firms in the region before joining Kituo. He believes in social justice, transformation and equity for all especially the disenfranchised and marginalized people in society. John describes himself as a trustworthy, tough and principled worker keen on creating a level of protection that mitigates vulnerabilities and threats to the organization.
Imoli has worked at Kituo Cha Sheria since 1996. Before, he worked for the French Embassy in Nairobi and the Bellerive Foundation as a driver. Due to his vast experience in driving and mechanics, Mr. Imoli currently serves Kituo Cha Sheria as the Transport Manager.
Rono is a security expert. Has had a wider and wealthier experience in both Security Risks and safety management. His security expertize begun in 2005 where he worked as a security officer in Cornerstone security limited until 2008 where he later moved to Lavington security limited for one year. Rono joined Kituo Cha Sheria in the year 2009 where he continues to execute his vast experience in Security profession to date.
