A study validation workshop for the three domains is scheduled for October 27–29 in accordance with the strategic aim 3 of the organization’s Plan 2020–2024, Grounded evidence based study–Enhancing access to justice. It may be possible to use research and innovation to make sure that the underprivileged groups have access to justice, legal counsel, and information.
KITUO has been conducting research on the following topics: assessing the success of legal empowerment initiatives in Kenya, gauging the effects of technology use in the justice sector in Kenya and Rwanda, and conducting a comparative analysis of the contentions surrounding the formalization of paralegal services in Kenya and Zambia.
With participants, practitioners, development partners, and paralegals from the local community enhancing the research areas, the workshop will be one of the learning pillars.
